Students, staff, and instructors at St. Paul’s School of Nursing proudly honored the commitment and dedication of medical assistants and their vital role in healthcare during Medical Assistants Recognition Week 2025.

Held every October during the third full week, Medical Assistants Recognition Week serves as a time of gratitude, reflection, and inspiration for both current professionals and students preparing to join the field.

Celebratory activities took place daily on the school’s Staten Island, New York campus, from therapy dog visits to MA classrooms, complimentary breakfasts for all MA students, and President and Dean’s List recognition, to a blood drive in partnership with the New York Blood Center.

Blood Drive Highlights:

  • The day-long blood drive on campus was a resounding success with 23 life-saving donations collected, positively impacting more than 68 lives in the local community.
  • Of the 27 registered donors who participated, 15 made either their first lifetime blood donation, or their first with the New York Blood Center.
